Dr. James Christophe Sherrell, MD

Dr Sherrell replaced my left knee a month ago and I am doing great in my recovery. I am very pleased with Dr. Sherrell and his staff. Care was excellent.

I came to Dr Sherril 10 years ago for a left knee replacement and 10 years later he did my right knee. I couldn't ask for a more knowledgeable and caring surgeon. He explains things on a level that anyone could understand. I'm blessed to have a doctor that I totally trust.

Dr. Sherrell performed a total knee replacement on my right knee. From all the feedback I'd heard from others who had this procedure, I was prepared for a lot of pain and a long time before I could get back to normal. What a surprise. A few hours after surgery I was walking virtually pain free. The swelling took a few days to go down. I have had 20 other operations, so I was expecting a lot of pain. I did have some, but it was tolerable and only used the pain medication occasionally for the first week. I entered physical therapy the day after I arrived home from the hospital. I know my results are not the norm, but two weeks to the day after my surgery I cut my lawn with a walk behind mower and, according to my app, walked 1.75 miles. Praise the Lord!

This is my second knee replacement by Dr Sherrell. He did a great job on the first knee and I didn't hesitate to go for the other when it was worn beyond repair. Both times were managed with excellent care and a great staff backing the Dr. I am very happy with him, his work and staff. Thanks Doc for giving me my life back:)

I was having pain , swelling and I was missing out on a lot of my activities I went 15 years in that condition with doctors telling me that I needed knee replacement done, knee was bone to bone..... I wish I had met Dr Sherrell earlier. Surgery went great. Thank you Dr. Sherrell.

Dr. Sherrell ruled out my original diagnosis and did x-rays to determine what the problem was. He then had a colleague come in to do a treatment that day so I did not have to drive there a second time.

I don't like this doctor one bit. He has a good staff, but he passes work off to others. He doesn't want to be bothered once the surgery is done.

One of the finest doctors I have had the privilege to know. His expertise in diagnosis and care is unmatched in my opinion.

My primary care doctor referred me to Dr. Sherrell. I have osteoarthritis through out all of my joints. I was having some major pain in my right knee. I had xrays, and MRI's done on my knee. The test showed up that there was very little if any at all cartilage left on my knee. So, I had bone rubbing against bone and this was causing me to fall a lot and major pain. Dr. Sherrell suggested that I have a total knee replacement. So, I agreed to have it done. Dr. Sherrell done an excellent job, and now I am almost completely pain free. I don't fall like I use to. The surgery and recovery went very well. I personally highly recommend Dr. Sherrell to anyone. Thank you Dr. Sherrell!
