Very poor people skills

James Shina is a terrible so called doctorhe has no care about his patients and terminated my medical pain medication that i have been on since 2014 from Dr Paul Wantanakanacorn .I was a patient at internal medicine Northside hospital once Paul left they transferred patients over to Trumbull Hospital where I've never met this dude based off his own preference since maybe my age I was crushed by 3,800 pounds of aluminum steel in 1999 at Star Extrusion and since been on medication of back pain its all on file he decides to cut me off cold Turkey and lied about why he did it causing pain and suffering which I'm on other medications which they treat me for Asthma , pre diabetes high blood pressure sinus problems and all but he decides to only target my pain medication I put request in to talk to him called patient advocate after a month he never returned call to even explain why he did it or anything the patients never seen him he hides behind desk in office and sends all these other… student doctors to see them and they go back to him for final say i dont think someone like that should be labeled as a doctor that can't even face his patients terrible human not Dr .

My experience has always been positive with Dr. Shina, his nurse and office staff. Dr. Shina is a well educated, patient oriented, caring physician. When he is with you, you feel that he is genuinely interested in you, as an individual, and not just another paying customer. I have nothing but praise for him and his staff.

I've been going to Dr. Shina for many years, I'm guessing around 13 years now. He is a very professional doctor. He is very caring and has a deep concern for his patients. I would never go to anyone else. I've had friends try to get me to change doctors, but I tell them I never will.

I have been going to dr. shina for about 6 years now and he is a great and awesome doctor. He is friendly, very professional, accurate on his diagnosis, takes time to answer questions and is very knowledgable in his doctoring. I would recommend dr. shina to everyone i know. he is a young doctor so you should feel confident that he is up on current medications and procedures. I do not regret going to dr. shina one bit and i hope you decide to make him your doctor. i cant say enough about this man and for being so young he is not cocky and mr know it all like some doctors. i will be your distinct please to meet him should you decide to go with him. i truly trust him with my medical care and he truly helped me with urgent care one time i thought i was having a heart attack. he arranged a ambulance for me within seconds and i was taken to the hospital in record time. everything turned out fine since i was having a panic attack and not a heart attack thank god. please make dr. shina your… doctor.

He is very professional and very good at his job. He is very knowledgeable about many doctor issues. He is crisp and clear when he speaks and he dresses very nicely for a good looking doctor...lol...very satisfied with him.......

staff needs to be more on the ball.

Caring and takes time to listen and explain.

an old fashioned doctor. Dr. Shina takes an inordinate amount of time explaining things to my elderly mother and making sure that she understands as best she can. We have never waited. In fact we have been taken in early. he is truly caring and thorough.
