How can rating overview be one (1) star and the patient recomendation be 96%? I'd love someone to explain this to me. Day 6 in the hospital for my wife. She was given a third covid test (the first 2 were negative) and moved to a different floor. A floor that, by the doctor's own words, is filled with covid patients. That's why NO VISITORS. WHAT?!?! Are they trying to get her infected? She doesn't have covid. Why is she on a covid floor? They graciously allowed me 1/2 hr. (out of 4 days) with my wife last night. << sarcasm. We had to threaten to pull her out to get visitation for me. I thought I was going to have regular visitation but they waited til I got there to tell me I only have a half hour with her. Supervised. If I had known that up front I would have continued to have her transfered to a different hospital. I pulled her out of the hospital today. They had her on an active covid floor so she left AMA. Several states tried that crap with the nursing homes and… thousands died as a result. What a bunch of knuckleheads putting my wife at risk like that.

I took my wife LVH cedar crest for breathing problems. She has pneumonia. They gave her a covid test then told me I couldn't be with her until the results came back. I explained that we were VERY close just hours ago and if she is positive for covid then so am I, therefore, there is no reason to keep us apart. They just site the policy and don't care. No independent thinking going on there. So I waited until they got the negative result that I knew they would get. I took my daughter with me to see her mother and was promptly informed that the patient can only have one visitor a day. So I explain to my daughter that she would have to wait til the following day to see mom. The following day they did ANOTHER covid test and there went my daughter's chance to visit. So I have seen my wife for a total of 1.5 hrs. in the last 3 days and my son and daughter haven't seen her at all in 3 days. I am so sick of the covid fear that goes around. Everyone wants to let fear dominate their lives and… dictate their actions. I don't do that. If you want to be with your loved one do NOT bring them here.

Please take your loved one elsewhere. Nurses have no bed side manners and are outright rude. Doctors think they are on a picnic when they do their rounds. Come into your room for 1 minute and move on to the next. They come in with 2 to 3 doctors who seem like they are just walking around doing a daily walk chatting among themselves. Nurses allow patient buzzers to go off and don't come in for over an hour and half. They sit at the nurses station giggling instead. Administration is no better . Many phone calls made to discuss these issues but of course they try to blame the patient or family member being to demanding. Yes please let a cancer patient hold their bowels while u discuss your weekend. They forget to feed their patients as well. A quick search in lehigh valley news will show u all rhe fiid problems that were reported by the news. This place us a disaster.

I went there with shingle complications in my eye. I was admitted to emergency . I had a lot of pain in my head and it took 6 hours until they gave me something for the pain. Totally unacceptable. They have signs in the rooms that say keep the patient informed. That totally didn't happen, on numerous occasions. If they didn't discharge me by 5 pm the next day, I told my nurse that I was walking out. Worst hospital stay ever!

When I went to cedar crest hospital it was dirty and the nurse couldn’t find my info then blamed the “it Dept” because they “don’t do anything.” I will never come back, discusting and dirty.

When I went for my visit at LVHN, the computer system was “slow” and the employees were complaining that the IT department would not fix the situation and that this had been an ongoing issue for the hospital. What kind of hospital employees an entire IT department if they can’t get their act together and do their job? The employees didn’t even want to be bothered with calling them because they said that they wouldn’t do anything about the problem anyway. Horrible way for an entire hospital to run. Should be ashamed.
