Dr. James Riley Shortridge, DO

I saw Dr. Shortridge as a substitute for my regular oncologist. He was well informed about my case, listened, gave referrals and helpful information. I was very impressed with his knowledge and care.

I have unfortunately been to many physicians, I have never received such kind, caring and completely professional care as I received from James Shortridge.If you need an Oncologist,a I did, see him.

I was diagnosed with Colon Cancer last year. I was only 33 and had no idea what to do. I was referred to Dr Shortridge and he took great care of me. From setting up all of the tests/treatments I needed to explaining what I needed to do and what to expect. He was a big help physically as well as mentally. I had a lot of side effects; infections, blood clots, low blood counts, neuropathy. Even my gall bladder quit working half way through chemo. Dr Shortridge helped me through each circumstance and created a plan unique for me. Even though I was frustrated when he would postpone my chemo because of the complications, I can see now that he had my best interest in mind and didn’t make the complications life threatening. Dr Shortridge is a very knowledgeable, kind, positive doctor. Which you need going through cancer. I can proudly say I beat Cancer with the help of Dr Shortridge and look forward to keep following up with him to make sure it does not come back. –Kirk J
