Dr. James Adamah Sirleaf, MD

I went in the ER for irritation from a vaginal swab and me thinking I was passing kidney stones. He turned around and gave me another vaginal swab in less than 24 hours. They didn't even give me a kidney ultrasound. When I called the er back he lied and said I came in for vaginal itching . I've been a woman for 36 years. I could have gone to the store for some Monistat if I was itching. I see why they give our hospital h.ll. Then gone tell me I can come back but I'll have to wait again. Who tf does that? I'm over these doctors today. Never again!

In a sexual nature

All of the reviews are older but I feel he is still not a suitable doctor. My friend was taken by ambulance to Piedmont Columbus Regional after having a seizure, not regaining normalcy and difficulty breathing. After xrays, Dr. Sirleaf said no broken ribs, ordered a shot of fentanyl and sent him home after him laying there in pain for 8 hours. Followed up with primary doctor 5 days later and after more xrays, he was diagnosed with fractured ribs and onset pneumonia since he was still having trouble breathing. During the 8 hours we were at Piedmont Columbus Regional Dr. Sirleaf was mostly standing in the hall talking with EMT's and other workers. Piedmont Columbus Regional will be hearing from us regarding him lack of professionlism.

Back in the mid 1990's, he stitched up my finger at St. Raphael's Hospital ER and asked me out to dinner. Then he put the moves on very quickly at his apartment. I then found out he chased after any woman that had a beating heart. Coworkers and/or patients it doesn't matter to him. I didn't realize how many others there were until I came upon this site.

If you are a women please take under advisement that he maybe inappropriate, unprofessional context.

It was very comforting to have a great person with a great bedside manner. That is very rare at Phoebe. He made me feel better.
