If you want the best...plan to wait! I’ve waited from 2-3 hours on both visits but I know he is in HIGH DEMAND which speaks for his ability and integrity! When he does get to you he gives you as much time as you need, never hurrying you through your appointment, And is very thorough. I only wish I’d know about him before my surgery with a Dr in another town that didn’t go well!

I trust dr. Slater but every time I have had an appointment he has been running an hour or more behind. Today he was over an hour and forty five minutes behind. When I asked the front desk why patients were not notified ahead of time of the long delay I was bluntly told that there were to many to call. He may be a good doctor but he seems way over booked.

I knew a few people that had used Dr. Slater with excellent results and I was impressed with what I heard and saw. My surgery and recovery went smoothly and Dr. Slater is attentive when you see him and listens and answers all questions. He did not cut the muscle and I did not have to use the bending machine -he believes the patient needs to do the work and not have a machine do it. My after surgery results where so much faster than others I know and excellent in all respects.

In my opinion Dr Slater hung the moon. I had both knees replaced in an eight month span. If your looking for a Dr. to do the rehab work for you after surgury there isn't one. I was back at work within 5 days. All the patients in the Joint Center therapy performed better after surgury than other Dr's patients both times I was there. You will not find a more professional "artist" in the medical field than Dr. Slater

We did not have a good experience with Dr. Slater. He did not seem to have experience working with younger patients nor did he seem to care about quality of life. His bedside manner was poor and we were not impressed. We took our xrays and left.
