Dr. James Daniel Sloderbeck, MD

Dr. James D. Sloderbeck is an emergency medicine physician at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital. Dr. Sloderbeck earned his medical degree from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine where he also received his undergraduate degree in human biology. He completed his internship in general surgery at the Naval Regional Medical Center in Portsmouth, Va. and completed his residency in emergency medicine at the University of Louisville School of Medicine, where he also served as chief resident. Dr. Sloderbeck is board-certified in emergency medicine and has been practicing medicine for nearly 30 years. his work at Piedmont, Dr. Sloderbeck also has experience working in medicine with the U.S. Navy. He was an honor graduate from the Naval Aeromedical Research Institute as a student flight surgeon and was a flight surgeon for Training Air Wing 5 at the NAS Whiting Filed in Milton, Fla. He has also served as the chairman and medical director of the Department of Emergency Medicine at Piedmont …Newnan Hospital. Dr. Sloderbeck became a fellow of the American College of Emergency Medicine in 1986.
