Fantastic doctor! He's a little eccentric but an amazing doctor. He's kind and light-hearted.

Dr. Smeltzer is an amazing doctor. He is a brilliant mind. He does things a little different then you may expect but don't look at it as a con. He's an amazing doctor. I wish he could deliver my baby. He has saved my baby from being born at 23 weeks, in which our little man wouldn't have made it.

With my first, I had to have an emergency c-section, the nurses couldn't find a heart rate and they thought my son had died. He was so animated during the surgery(I was awake), I knew exactly what was going on. When he cut me open, he shouted, "he is pink!!", before he even pulled the baby out. The emotion and excitement in his voice, immediately calmed me down. When he got the baby out, my son did not immediately cry, I couldn't see but I could hear him shout, "come on baby, cry", then I heard the faint cry... It was the scariest moment of my life, but having him there, was the best thing that could ever happen. A week later, when I saw him to get the staples out, I thanked him for "saving my baby", he told me to "thank God and he was only a tool". If that isn't modesty, I don't know what is!!! I love him. This pregnancy, we had a scare in the first trimester, and when I heard he is the one doing my NT-scan, I knew I couldn't be in better hands. He explained everything during the… NT-scan, and made jokes, kept the mood light, even when he explained to me all the options, he was calm, and happy and kept the mood light, I left the office feeling so satisfied, and knowledgable, and significantly less panicked as I got more answers from him, than from Dr. Google :) . Have I said I love him? I recommend him, highly!!

Dr. Smeltzer is the reason my daughter is here. I have high blood pressure and Lupus he handled my case as if he sees people like me everyday. Him and Dawn managed my care so close. I felt like I was so safe and that my pregnancy would result in a healthy baby. They became a part of my family because we saw them so often. I cant thank them enough for their treatment and care. I have a beautiful baby girl because of the knowledge wisdom and instinct they used to see my pregnancy through. My daughter was born a little early and she was really tiny but she is healthy happy and most important she is here. Thank you Dr. Smeltzer.
