Dr. James Edward Smith

Dr.jim Smith is a fraud,he gave B12 injection out of healthy alternative vitamin store in Centerville,he pretended to give shot in hip, I said wow I didn't feel a thing he said it was needle,then he put a cotton ball with red marker on it and taped it to hip,you pay upfront,shut him down

First, He is not a Medical Doctor. The Doctors office is a front for his personal approach to alternative treatment. He missed diagnosed and then prescribed vitamins and other therapies, that he sells and performs. Frightening operation and experience. If you have a real medical problem I would suggest you go to a real Medical Doctor.

The vit B12 works wonders on me. I have cancer and am undergoing treatment with Chemo.

I have been a patient for a few years with this office. I have witnessed a decline in appearance and excitment when I go in for follow ups. The office used to be operated by Dr. Smith and his wife Katherine, and I believe her son Ronnie was an RN who took care of the patients getting IV's. Ronnie no longer works there, and it is just the Dr and wife duo. I liked talking to Ronnie because he was very informed and enthusiastic about health. Now when I go into the office no one wants to be bothered. I asked where Ronnie was and they act like they don't know which is weird. The office is dead and unfriendly. The Dr and his wife lack personality. They both seem to dislike people. They are only open 2days per week which is probably all they can handle since they aren't the types to be social. I am not sure what happened to this practice as it once was a nice fun place to go. Now it just feels like they show up and want your money and could care less about anything else. It is… very disheartening, especially due to the fact that when I first met the Dr he spoke to me as a strong healthy Christian man. Now he just seems like an old angry bitter has been. I would not recommend this Dr to anyone any longer.

It is a retail store, not a doctor's office. His wife is the receptionist and her son is the nurse and they will tell you how great Dr. Jim is... all without telling you that the "Center for Advanced Medicine" is really just a family business. Jim Smith sells his own brand of overpriced supplements that he "prescribes" and when they don't help, you can't return them because all sales are final. His bedside manner is terrible!! He is insulting and demeaning. Actually, he isn't too bad as long as your checkbook is open and your mouth is shut. Heaven forbid you ask questions about his "diagnosis" or "prescriptions". The chairs are really nice, so at least you'll be comfortable while he tries his best to drain your wallet.

First of all he is not an M.D. The medical practice is a front for retail sales of his "Health Care Products" He proports to be an alternative medicine doctor. He will try to tell you everything you need hear in terms of natural healing. He just happens to sell all of the vitamins, minerals and enzymes you need i.e. prescribed by him at a very inflated price. His brand name.In addition, he provides a full array of alternative treatments and services.
