Dr. James Martin Spitzer, DDS

Dr. James Spitzer is a native of Green Bay. He graduated from Marquette University School of Dentistry in 1977 and served as a dentist in the U.S. Navy before returning to Green Bay in 1979 to establish his family practice. He is dedicated to continuing his education in order to provide the most state-of-the-art dental techniques. He has given particular attention to the study of solutions to complex restorative problems, TMJ disorders, cosmetic and implant dentistry, oral conscious sedation for anxious patients, and toxic health concerns involving biocompatible restorations.
Dr. Spitzer is a member of several dental organizations, including the American Dental Association, the Wisconsin Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation (D.O.C.S.), and the Greater Green Bay Study Club (GGBSC). The GGBSC, a local chapter of the Seattle Study Club, is comprised of approximately 140 chapters nationwide. Membership is composed of outstanding …dentists who work together to find solutions to the most challenging dental cases. This study club is instrumental in providing the most current and successful techniques, products, and procedures available in dentistry. The knowledge Dr. Spitzer gains by networking with fellow GGBSC members helps him provide his patients with optimum dental health and a beautiful smile. Dr. Spitzer is an active member of his church and enjoys outdoor activities in his free time.

Our team wants you to feel relaxed and comfortable during every visit. Headphones and blankets are available for your comfort, and you will always have a complete understanding of your procedure and what we are trying to accomplish before treatment begins.
We understand that you are an individual with preferences of your own. This is just one reason we personalize our approach to each patient. On your first visit to the office, you will receive a complimentary cosmetic evaluation. We also do compatibility tests for people with allergies to determine which products can be used safely. Before commencing with treatment, we conduct a thorough examination of each patient’s mouth in order to determine which treatment should be of highest priority. If there is an emergency situation that needs attention, we will handle it before continuing to other procedures.
Dr. Spitzer completes treatment in as few visits as possible, and we make every effort to remain on schedule. We know your time is valuable, and you can expect our office to run on time.
