Dr. Starman began his medical training at the esteemed University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine during which time he spent a year working directly with world-renowned ACL surgeon Dr. Freddie Fu. Upon graduation, he completed a multifaceted orthopaedic surgery residency at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina and a comprehensive Sports Medicine Fellowship at the University of Virginia. During his fellowship, Dr. Starman had the privilege of assisting in the care of a variety of collegiate teams including the 2013-14 ACC Men’s Basketball Champion UVA Cavaliers, nationally-ranked UVA Men’s Lacrosse team, and James Madison Football team.

In his free time, Dr. Starman enjoys playing golf, watching college football, cycling, and spending time with his wife and daughter. Both he and his wife were born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and are truly happy to be a part of the friendly Palm Beach County community.
