Dr. James Court Stephens, MD

He cannot call himself a doctor. He’s the most uncompassionate doctor I have ever met. If I can give him no stars, I would. I saw him in the ER. Came into my room and ask me what I’m doing here. I told him my concerns and he ask me what he’s suppose to do about it. You’re the doctor. You tell me what you are going to do. If you dislike your patients and your job, then find something else to do. Your pledge to being a doctor is a slap in the face to all doctors. I don’t know how he still have his license. No heart at all!!

He took nearly 5 hours to come into my room to even evaluate me. Didn't tell em what my lab results were. Left me in my room for 13 hours. Did nothing while I complained of shortness of breath and chest pain. My oxygen kept dipping into the low 90s and 80s my blood pressure was dangerously low. I didnt find out what my labs were till i got transferred. My wbc was very high I was in acute kidney failure. My BUN and creatine was elevated my lactic was elevated. I received no oxygen. No further testing. Nothing. He reported off to the other hospital that i stable ( I needed a ep cardiologist that's why i was being transferred) so that's why I didn't transfer immediately. Ems showed up and on the way they were scrambling to bolus me and put me oxygen. Asking me why the hell the doctor Left me in that state. I was confused I was wondering the same thing. See you in court. I wish I could leave no stars. He doesn't deserve to practice. Every day I wake up I think about who else he is… mistreated. If you go to this hospital don't allow this man to treat or evaluate you if you value you or your family's life. Please stay stay far away from this man. I have permanent disabilities because of his negligence. And from what I hear from the staff he is notorious for being the lazy piece of crap doctor. They are all counting the days for him to retire.

Terrible no compassion and very condescending

Went to the ER with concerns about the flu and possible cardiac issue. "Dr." Stephens entered the room looking extremely unkempt and asked why I was there. I started to tell him and he interrupted me and asked in a mocking baby voice "Did I call my Mommy". I replied that I wish I could but she died when I was 12 years old and asked why he was mocking me. He pretty much told me that I had no business being in the ER and to "drink fluids at home". I work in an emergency room and I have NEVER heard one of our docs speak to a patient like this guy spoke to me. He is a terrible representation of Hubbard at Harrington.

He is pompous, arrogant, close minded, does not listen to the patient at all, is dismissive. He is not competent to practice medicine.

this man was by far the rudest doctor I have ever had, saw him in the er, ordered tests, never did a history or a physical,,,did an INR to check for a bleed & I am not on Coumadin,,,very condescending & snippy to me each time we spoke,,did not even address why I came there-had chest pain & cardiac history-did chest x-ray, never listened 2 my heart, got cardiac enzymes or ekg,,,rude & incompetent ,,,I could go on..was asked 2 leave when I told him he was rude,, did not get paperwork or anything

I would not recommend this doctor to anyone
