Your personal information in not safe with Mississippi Eye Associates. They blurted out my social security number and other personal information at the front desk for a overbooked lobby to hear or steal my identity. When I complain of they broke the law I was told I had a attitude and James Sutton chastised me by pointing his finger and being rude. HIPPA claims filed. Bad personal, bad doctor.

Poor PPE at the front desk. None. Problems with both front desk personnel about my Medicare card that I did not have. Other patients in a crowded lobby had the same issue. No notifications from their schedulers on what was needed for appointment and no compassion. Rude. Dr Sutton or James at this level was a pompass jerk telling me that I had a issue because I complained of their shortcomings. Then he had the lack of professionalism to point his finger at me and wave it like a child. No class. No ppe. COVID nightmare. Do not go there. Not professional

Excellent patient care, knowledgeable and professional!

Dr. Sutton is a first rate Ophthalmologist. His staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Very clean, attractive facility. Only negative was the 40 minute wait time.

PSA - If you've ever had any type of problems with your eyes...at any time in your life...that can be considered "medical," DO NOT GO TO DR. SUTTON (Mississippi Eye Associates) for your vision insurance "free" annual eye exam. If you do, be prepared to pay at least $150. I was told me that because he is an ophthalmologist, if he finds anything that is considered "medical," it is filed under medical and not vision. Since having eye surgeries several years ago, I've gone to an OPTHAMOLOGIST every year for an annual exam and not been charged. When I saw my retina specialist, that was filed under medical. I was not prepared to pay $150. Oh, and if you put it on a credit card, they charge an addition percentage / fee! The girl who did all the work was very sweet. She is the only reason I would give even one star.

My 7yr old had a piece of tree bark stuck in the backside of his eyelid. He was wonderful with him. Very gentle and great with children.

Dr. Sutton has been taking care of my eyes for a number of years. I have some complicated problems but he's always able to get me exactly the right correction. He's also referred me to several top notch specialists. The care I have received has been excellent and his optometrist is also very good. Thank you.

recommended by old friend and fellow shipyard worker. I had both Eyes cataract removed and implants. Both excellent. Before I could not see even with thick eye glasses. Old eye dr. Also recommended. Returning to competition shooting and excellent eye sight is definitely required. Thanks doctor for turning on the light.

Dr. Sutton was very uncooperative and defensive when asked questions. patient was never given an answer to a simple question. Seemed very insecure. very rude. refused to try a contact prescription that his own tests suggested AND ended up helping a great deal, no thanks to him. very unpleasant and i definitely will never return to him. I rarely write a review about anything and rarely have personal conflict with anyone. this was quite frustrating. we basically had to beg to get what we needed. He was telling us we just had to accept bad vision even though they had the correct prescription in the next room! ridiculous.
