Dr. James A H Tauberg, MD

A week ago, Dr. Tauberg extracted two of my wisdom teeth and one molar. The procedure took about forty-five minutes and was completely painless. Dr. Tauberg explained everything he was doing, step-by-step, and frequently asked me how I was feeling, offering to give me a break if I needed one at any time (I didn't). In addition to being an excellent dentist, Dr. Tauberg is just a great guy with a great sense of humor. I saw him yesterday for my one-week checkup, at which time he told me everything looked fine. I'll see him again in a few weeks for another checkup, and this fall he'll be putting an implant in where the molar was extracted. I would recommend Dr. Tauberg to anyone who is in need of oral surgery and wants a dentist who is both highly proficient and compassionate. He has two main goals in any procedure: his patient's comfort and an excellent outcome. In my case, he certainly achieved both!

The doctor was very nice and professional. Although the staff knew why I was scheduling an appointment several weeks in advance, at no time was I informed there would be a $300 upfront fee. I felt they had an obligation as any other professional to discuss this prior to the visit. The fee is not covered by any insurance carrier. In the future, discuss with a potential patient a cash fee upfront.

I have had some bad experiences with dentists so I am very anxious when seeing a dentist or dental specialist. I have gone to Dr. Tauberg several times now for tooth extractions. He is wonderful. He is extremely calming and I would highly recommend him to anyone needing to have a tooth extracted.
