Dr. James Alan Thompson, MD

I am in my 20th year working for a surgeon and I have been in medical since 1984 and Dr. Thompson is the most caring compassionate doctor I have met to date. Including all the doctors I worked for in my life. He answered every single question until I understood even though I asked some questions two and three times. He never made me feel rushed and he never got agitated or annoyed with me. I really badgered him with the questions but he smiled and softly talked me thru everything that is going to happen. He laughed and joked and played with our granddaughter until you could see the fear go from her face. This is a very scary time for us but I have no hesitation in Dr. Thompson doing this procedure. I feel very safe that he is the best doctor I could have for this child.

I have rarely encountered any doctor as understanding and respectful as Dr. Thompson. I am very grateful to my primary care for having recommended to him when I was in need of a help. In fact, the care and concern I experienced was incredible. Highly recommended.

My daughter needed a heart catheterization at 2 years old. It was the single most traumatic day of my life, but Dr. Thompson was the best doctor anyone could have asked for! He explained everything in detail from showing up to the hospital to the follow up in his office. He will spend all day answering your questions and the procedure was quick and my daughter was as good as new the next day. And he's GREAT with kids! Wait time is a little long, so be prepared to sit, but it was well worth it!
