Dr. James Patrick Toner JR., MD

Dr. Toner is a very smart man. Based on all my issues that I presented to him. He was able to tell me what was the cause of my infertility, before the actual lab tests(blood work) and procedures (HSG/SIS) was done. My first appointment with him went great, he was attentive and explained the process to me. After the first meeting everything went down hill. I felt rushed at every appointment after the first. I just try to remember that he is only human. Sadly Doctors become desensitize to their patients needs, this comes from being in the medical field for a long time. Would I recommend him, Yes he is better than most Doctors that I have had the pleasure of being around. I am committed to make the best out of my situation.

This doctor does not care about your needs. He only wants your money. period. He is like a used car sales man for IVF. Do not recommend.

My husband & I had to drive approximately 2 hours each way to every appointment, but it was well worth it! Dr. Toner, the other doctors, and the entire staff wer extremly caring and very professional at the same time. I always felt like I was their only patient. I would reccommend Sr. Toner and ACRM to anyone!

We went to ACRM for IVF. My husband had a vasectomy that was non-reversible. I'm 38 and after two trials we became pregnant with twins. Dr. Toner was careful in explaining the risks of the treatment, but at ACRM you really see different people almost each time, which is fine, since the point is their expertise, not having your hand held. Our research said they had good results which is largely based in their skill at the embryo creation process, hardly something one can, as a layperson, evaluate. We were content with the service which was very professional if a little distant given how one saw different people. This is likely necessary since your trial will demand visits at certain times. I think my only complaint was the lack of personal touch/communication that offered some reassurance; we only saw our nurse only once for a few minutes (we spoke often). But then again, we are pregnant, so given that was the goal, I would highly recommend ACRM and Dr. Toner.

Everything about Dr. Toner is great - he is readily available, he takes the time to answer questions, he thinks "outside the box", and he will take your feedback and opinions and make decisions together. He also has a background in Psychology to boot (in addition to Repro Endo) so he understands how to help on the emotional side as well. Most importantly, he doesn't give up on you when some others would have not been as supportive or helpful. I have always had a great experience with him, and everyone I know who has seen him had a beneficial time as well.

Dr. Toner should never be a fertility dr. He is only about stats, not about your needs. He should work in a lab, not with patients
