Dr. Troutman has been seeing our daughter since birth (13 months) and he is the only doctor we visit for primary visits. He goes above and beyond to answer any questions we have and to make us feel comfortable. Being new parents, we never feel like we are asking a dumb question. Usually before we can even ask he is already giving us the information. He is very friendly with our daughter and he always explains any checks he is going to complete so we do not feel uncomfortable with a male doctor with our daughter (these days there could be a cause for concern). Overall I would recommend Durham Peds & Dr. Troutman to anyone looking for a doctor in the area!

Dr Troutman is a truly outstanding pediatrician. I like the fact that he not only treats your child but also understands that the parents are there too. He treats you like an equal and doesnt talk down to you like alot of providers do, very happy with Dr Troutman!
