Dr. James Alan Tumlin, MD

Dr. Tumlin diagnosed and treated me when I was 17 and I am still his patient. I was sick for a very long time before I found a doctor knowledgeable enough to treat my recognize and treat my condition. He is an extremely smart man. He is very knowledgeable about all current treatments and medicines and truly does care about each patient. He is a very busy man but takes care of each patient. He tells you how it is and that can be offensive to some, but you actually know what is going on with your health, treatment, and prognosis. He saved my life and gave me his personal contact information in case I ever needed anything. He is very straight forward and will do all he possibly can to get you the best treatment, even if treatment includes a research trial.

I don't think I would be here today if it wasn't for Dr. Tumlins quick treatment plan for me. I truly believe he saved my life! I am forever grateful for him

I have been with Dr. James Tumlin since 2017. I have found him to be friendly and he does have empathy. You do have to ask him questions to get to the bottom of your condition, but he does not hesitate to give you information.

Poor judgement, communication and lack of sympathy. Has a huge ego problem. Would not recommend!

The Dr. was not prepared for my visit. He had ordered tests and did not even address them. I had to bring it to his attention that I was there for results from the tests. Didn't get answers either.

Currently helping me with a kidney disease. Very nice gentleman whom is always informative and helpful. We travel from out of town to see him.

Dr. Tumlin has been my doctor for over 12 years now and I am forever grateful to him for all of the time and effort he has given to me personally to get my body into remission. I see him for Dermatomyositis, Scleroderma, Sjogrens, Arthritis and a few other underlying diseases associated with autoimmune disease. I truly believe that I would be in a wheelchair today but for Dr. Tumlin and his progressive medical attention he has given me I am still walking.

Greedy after money will not recommend at all

This doctor is very pushsy, he tries to push me to do a bone marrow biopsy, I absolutely did not want to do that biopsy, at all. Sometimes when I see this man at the dialysis clinic, he always coming up with medical things, he''ll talk to some of the patients about patipating in some of the medical research he has came up with, so he can get wealthier, all he cares about is, money, money, money, and money. I would not recommend this man to anyone at all.
