Dr. James William Turner III, MD

Dr. Turner gets right to the point, his staff is efficient and kind and I am in and out of his office with OPTIONS. The patient plays a role here. You are not diagnose and dump but rather “what do you think is going on?” And “would you prefer this or this treatment plan”. Not top down treatment. Patient centered treatment.

The doctor is decent , but not worth visiting because of the office manager who is rude and unprofessional. I read a review about this before and ignored it. I wish I would have listened. She is a nightmare.

Kind of like an old fashioned doctor's office, where the staff doesn't think you're qualified to have an intelligent discussion about your medical issues, yu wait a while to get in, see the doctor, get results, get return phone calls, etc. Nothing horrible, just cold, clinical, minimally considerate, adequately efficient. Doctor Turner is obviously very well qualified, but often he seems rushed. When he takes time, he seems to remember what great doctoring is about.

Does not make good diagnosis on illnesses.

Cares about his patients. Recommended by relatives/friends in Clifton Senior Center. Gives good advice - free "sample" meds with no problem.
