had to wait over an hour for my appointment. he is unprofessional. talks bad about his fellow doctors. i was sent for an abnormal chest xray and he didnt even bother to look at the xray in question. gave me no advice about my medical condition i didnt already know. and no follow up was made

Very unethical. Talks about his referring doctors as if they are crap. He is full of himself and not good at diagnosing medical problems. Would not recommend him.

Dr. Tyner is a very caring and wonderful doctor. He never hesitates to take the time to sit and talk with me or my husband. He is always available when I need him. He has even offered to do home visits if I'm not able to make it to the hospital. I have been his patient for 20 years and I wouldn't trade a moment of it

I was thinking about Dr, Tyner the other day and thought that I would google him. I thank God for Dr. Tyner and this last review hurts me. I'm sorry that you had a bad experience. He diagnosed me with sarcoidosis in 1988. I can not believe how compasionate and caring he was. I was laid off from NWCH the day before my biopsy. He called me that night to make sure that I was ok and would still go through the procedure. He took care of me from that point forward. He made sure that I was adequately informed (no internet back then)and was patient with my questions. Unfortunetly, the cold was too much for my lungs and I moved to Florida. The only thing that almost kept me there was Dr. Tyner. My sarcoidosis is re-occuring and I see a pulmonologist (the 3rd one) this week. Believe me, the other 2 were not caring at all like him. Nor were the opthomologist or dermatologist that I had to see for this disease. He is still #1 in my heart.

Dr. Tyner was my mother's physician. I feel that he overlooked some obvious, critical information re: her clinical presentation. He was not receptive to concerns and in her final hours, I thought he was downright cruel in her care - again with a lack of being receptive to her family concerns which resulted in a delay in getting medication for her comfort as she died. I would highly NOT recommend him to anyone, anywhere for any reason having to do with their medical care.
