Dr. James Vaiana, DDS

Had a molar extracted today,I was nervous .Dr. Vaiana & his staff were absolutely great.Gentle,caring,compassionate. They informed me of what they were going to do before they did it. I am very pleased with the whole visit.No rudeness what so ever.

I had to see an oral surgeon for the first time ever and was not looking forward to it. I needed a biopsy and Dr. Vaiana was great as was his staff. Appointments were on time and everything went smoothly.

Upon arrival, BEFORE the procedure payment in full was required. I was not allowed to accompany the minor patient for procedure. During the procedure, Novocain was administered and was very painful. Patient was crying and the assistants were laughing. Patient stated there was pain and doctor continued. Patient was upset and not prepared over bloody gauze and the assistants were laughing again. NO follow up call even though the patient left in pain and in tears. Dr. Vaina and staff showed no empathy for the patient.

The receptionists are rude and ignorant. the worst i’ve ever seen. i walked in and waited for a solid minute at the front desk because the receptionist was reading a magazine. they have no personality and clearly hate their jobs. The doctor office has no communication with their joint dentist office in ottawa. they asked me what they did there for me because they didn’t know. Vianni is a very good oral surgeon, but also no personality. if you’re going to go to an oral surgeon, i highly recommend going to the one in ottawa with Dr.Rooney.
