He has cared for me for 40 yrs . Has kept me going all that time and thru all the meds changes. Would never leave him. Even helped get a service dog when I got in that time in my life. Steve.G.

While very personable, he was nearly impossible to get a hold of. The phone system was messed up. On one occasion when I was having difficulty with my medication, I literally had to just show up at the office and hope they'd see me. On another, they referred me to the ER instead of seeing, even though the ER was right next door to his office. I finally found a new neurologist.

He was very through and easy to talk to. The whole office made you feel welcome and took their time so you didn't feel like they were rushing you.

Dr. V has made me swear off agh. He told me I had a psychological issue when i was having a true medical emergency. His bedside manor is awful. I would not wish him on my worst enemy.

Highly respected neurologist. The best in PGH. He saved me after years of debilitating seizures.

I've gone to Dr. Valariano for more more years than I can remember for neurological problems, primarily epilepsy. He has always been there for me, with a calm demeanor and more than professional knowledge. Also, His staff is willing to help in anyway possible. Dr. Valariano is the neurologist that other neurologists set their standards by.

The times that i saw Dr. Valeriano, he was a good listener, but i would rate him a 0 . He did absolutely nothing to help me. the only thing he did was send me for EEG's and he told me that he could do nothing for me, and told me to see a psychiatrist, even though i am having severe difficulties since i had brain surgery in 1987.

He was initially okay, but after awhile, he became a robot and unable to think outside the box. His alleged support staff is absolutely horrendous. They're even more robotic, refuse to communicate, and when I spoke to them regarding an issue, became argumentative.
