Dr. James Anthony Vecchio, MD

I saw Dr. Vecchio for a colonoscopy screening. He had a terrific bed-side manner, was highly attentive during my lengthy pre-op wait (a result of my own actions), and very informative about the results of the procedure and how I shoud follow up. The confidence I had in him also came not from the arrogance so often seen in specialists, but from his unspoken reassurance of his knowledge and skill. I highly recommend him. The nursing staff on the unit was also terrific.

After going through three GI specialists in a year, trying to get my ulcerative colitis under control I was referred to Dr. Vecchio. He was not only able to prevent me from having surgery, but has also kept my UC in remission for 4 years. He is an amazing doctor and I would recommend him to anyone looking for a wonderful GI specialist.
