Andrea was just about the rudest person I've ever encountered as a patient.

This doctor refused to treat my condition. I needed to remove finger calluses. This doctor made it clear there was no treatment for calluses. Three months after I had a finger amputated due to damage resulting from doctors' mistreatment, cracking, peeling, bloody, callused fingertips I finally found Curad callus removing pads. Within a month the calluses peeled off and my fingertips healed and returned to normal. I wish this doctor was more informed about how to treat calluses. It would have saved me from now suffering with nerve damage hand pain for the rest of my life.

I had calloused finger tips. I had been playing stringed instruments for the past forty-five years and was never bothered by them until my nails began growing improperly and my finger tips began peeling, cracking and bleeding causing unbearable pain. Waldman, M.D. did not believe I had calluses and continued to prescribe cortisone cream. During my treatment plan with James S. Waldman, M.D. my condition became worse as well as the pain. I plead with James S. Waldman, M.D. for any kind of treatment or remedy for calluses. Each appointment James S. Waldman, M.D. insisted there was no treatment for removing calluses. Two years later, with no effective treatment I could find, in unbearable pain and left with constant peeling, cracking, bloody and calloused finger tips I unfortunately had to have one finger amputated. Two years after that I had a ray resection… surgery in a desperate attempt to alleviate the constant and unbearable pain resulting from the amputation. It has been five years now since my finger was amputated. I will need to cope with and endure constant hand pain for the rest of my life due to the ignorant, misinformed, thoughtless, careless, deceptive and bad treatment I received from James S. Waldman, M.D. A pre-med intern should be able to diagnose damaged, calloused skin and be informed of the very simple treatment. Three months after my finger was amputated I finally discovered Curad Mediplast Callus Remover Pads. Hospitals use them regularly on patients suffering from calluses. I could only find and buy them on-line. Within a month the calluses softened and peeled off, my fingers healed and my fingernails began to grow normally again. I hope physicians as well as those searching for a remedy for calluses can learn and benefit from my painfully tragic, life altering misfortune. This whole experience has been and will continue to be a real life nightmare. James S. Waldman, M.D. treated me with disrespect, arrogance, and patronization. James S. Waldman, M.D. refused to listen to me, disregarded my actual condition and led me to believe there was no cure or treatment for calluses. Shame on you James S. Waldman, M.D.

I miss having PPO insurance... I liked having such a competent dermatologist.

Dr. Waldman solved a problem with my lips that had been ongoing for 2 1/2 years and 6 other doctors couldn't figure it out. He is a no nonsense doctor who looks beyond the text book cures. I owe him a debt of gratitude for curing my inflamed, blistered, painful, swollen lips.

Dr. Waldman has been my dermatologist for a last 5 years. One of the things I like most about seeing him is that I'm never kept sitting in the waiting room for more than a few minutes. His staff schedules appointments very well and doesn't appear to overbook, so people aren't kept waiting very long. I typically see him for any odd growths on my skin, which doesn't really occur all that often. He has always done a great job of removing any skin issues that appear. I would definitely recommend him and I've always trusted his diagnosis. He has the nicest team of office assistants which seem to have been with him for a long time which always helps, one in particular... omg, so cute!

I'm in my 50's and have been seeing Dermatologists since my teens due to a chronic skin condition. I have been seeing Dr. Waldman as my only dermatologist since I found him 10+ years ago, as he has been the most effective at managing that condition and addressing any other dermatological issues that arise. He listens and gives sound advice. I highly recommend him.

I have been a patient of Dr. Waldman's for close to 15 years now. I have paid out of pocket to see him when uninsured because he is the best at detecting / dealing with melanoma and pre-melanoma. Dr. Waldman is one of the top Dr.'s in OC. He has taken care of my skin and kept me safe. He gets me in the office in a timely manner and gets the job done. As I said: I wouldn't trust my skin to anyone else.

I had taken my twelve year old son to several dermatologists for a rash that would not go away. Dr. Waldman was the only doctor to help us! My ten year old son had a wart on his foot that was also being treated by another dermatologist with no positive results. My younger son refers to Dr. Waldman as "the miracle worker". I would definitely recommend Dr. Waldman to anyone looking for a fantastic dermatologist. Adult or child! Very patient, answered questions, and we never felt rushed.
