Dr. James Robert Walters, MD

Son saw him in the ER and he was very aggressive with my 3 year old and rude. Didn't give proper instructions and didn't not clean his wound well enough so he ended up with an infection.

More interested in getting me out than treated.

There have been new defelopbenys since I posted that, and I intend to share them here in detail and then will add them to my yelp review. Let’s just say that this little man with (in my opinion) an ego the size of Texas, seems to have gotten incredibly butthurt over my completely honest description of my encounters with him. The rest, like how I feel about him and his care (lack thereof actually) is obviously a matter of opinion. BUT it was my HONEST opinion, based on the facts surrounding all the encounters and circumstances and his words and actions. So he went and actually called and cried about it to the police (lol!). He made ridiculous accusations and allegations that were totally ridiculous and straight LIES. Unfortunately for him, he ended up looking like the fool in the end when I was able to disprove EVERY accusation made and every lie told. I even gave the police consent to pull all my medical… records because one false claim he made was that I only saw him ONCE, and that I was supposedly “unconscious.” He was basically trying to lead the police to believe that I was simply out to get him or trying to ruin his career, when I never even actually “saw him.”(????????). So thankfully they did get my records and saw that he did in fact lie through his teeth, disproving and discrediting his ridiculous claim(s) altogether. Case closed. If he can flat out lie to the cops, imagine the other ridiculous things he says and does. He even tried to stifle my CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT to freedom of speech, etc. by requesting a cease and desist if I remember right. And now that I know that, you can bet I’ll continue to tell of my experiences with him. If it stops him from treating even one person like he treated me, that’s all that matters to me. I’m not out to destroy his career or anything (though I do believe he’s be much better suited to work in a field that doesn’t involve dealing with people. Only thing I wanna know (and I wish I’d thought of this much sooner because the statute of limitations has likely run out by now) but I’d like to know how it’s ok for him to lie and exaggerate to the POLICE, no less, and not be charged with lying to a police officer, filing a false report, defaming my chracter as well as the emotional, physical and financial stress that happened due to him not being able to handle the truth. So he can commit all the crimes he wants with zero consequences, yet he caused me some very significant issues due to those lies and the detectives coming TO MY WORK, AND to my parents home causing them undue emotional distress as well. And he wasted the valuable time of those detectives who could’ve been working on REAL cases. So why they didn’t charge him with SOMETHING (as I mentioned above, there were many things he did that were blatantly against the law) so that baffles me. Guess it just goes to show that it is true - if you have money, you can get out of anything. I’d forgotten all about this incident and what torment Walters caused me, until my fiancé happened to ask me about it. So I explained it all to him too. His suggestion was to first call the detective I talked to and inquire as to why he was able to get away with these things, and to check and see if there was a statute of limitations on time I have to try to press charges myself. And/or, he said I should contact a lawyer. I’m not sure whether I will or not because I’d rather just forget about him and this incident. He doesn’t deserve to take up ANY space in my head.

All I can say is DITTO to all the reviews I've just read (except the ONE out of SEVEN that simply says "great doctor." Nice try Dr. Walters, but you can't review yourself...). All the reviews say virtually the same thing. So this is clearly not an isolated incident. When will the people that employ this man and sign his paycheck, wake up and see what a disgrace he is to the profession??!!

Needs to retire, burned out and completely dismissive, I was nuisance for having broke my leg and was treated like I was nothing but a waste of his precious time and how dare I interrupt his flirting with the nurses. I will never go to NOCH ER ever again. This man is an undertaker not a man who took an oath to help save lives, I'm appalled to think this creature is allowed to practice medicine and have reported him to the board.

I was basically kicked out of this doctor's ER, yelled at while another patient lay listening on the other side of the curtain, and told I didn't belong there. I went in by ambulance because of an irregular heart rate. When they didn't hook me up to the monitor an EMT told someone to hook me up. As soon as the EMT left, the monitor was removed. Nobody else came to do any vitals, and then the doctor made his appearance. The woman next to me apologized for him after he berated me for wasting his time and taking up a bed. He actually told me to "get over it and move on" because he had seen me a year earlier when I complained of chest pain, which turned out to be a benign situation. I left the hospital and went home, trying to endure the tachycardia, chest pain, and an irregular heart rate. I called my cardiologist the next day and they said to get straight over to Mercy. I was hooked up and was told I was having a mix of tachycardia, bradycardia, and PAC's. I was given i.v. Lopressor to… fix the problem and was told it was a good thing I went in when I did--I might have needed to get the paddles. This doctor should not be treating the sick.

I consider myself an intelligent, compassionate, and caring person. I am the type of person who likes to help people, and who likes to think that there is more good in the world than bad. I am not perfect, and nobody is. So I would like to think that this man was just having a bad day when he saw me, and evaluated me. But I don't think he was. This person was incredibly rude to me and left me feeling embarrassed and invalidated. I honestly couldn't believe it--I left his care feeling like I was dreaming. This is a person who is supposed to care for people. I hope I never have to see him again.
