I really like Dr. Warner and everyone who works with and for him.

You will not find a better cardiologist anywhere, period.

When I was recently in the Warren County Hospital, staff gave me a stress test and reported to my doctor that there was a "suspicion" that I might need a stint placed in my heart. My doctor said I should get a second opinion and scheduled an appointment for me with Dr. James Warner, a cardiologist in Winchester. Luckily for me, Dr. Warner is part of the Heart and Vascular Institute which had given me a stress test several years earlier. While reviewing my records from Warren County, he also reviewed records from Winchester and found the previous stress test. He explained to me that the test given at Warren County was not appropriate for my condition and often produces false-positives. He said that, if I wanted, I could proceed with surgery, but he advised against it. Then, better, far better than anyone else, he explained through a hand drawing, my heart condition and why another test, such as the one given a few years earlier, did not result in the same finding as the… one at Warren County. His manner, his kindness, his ability to clearly explain are characteristics were important to me, and I remain grateful to him.
