Thanks to Dr. Weedon we get the right diagnosis but our daughter. Now she is getting the help she needs.

I called this doctors twice in a crisis situation - he wouldn't return my calls. I had concerns about the medicine my child was on and was basically told that he's "going through a transition period" and I could schedule an appointment a year from now!

A long waiting list for an appointment? Yes. But that is typical for highly sought after doctors and worth the wait! He is affiliated with one of the best hospitals in the country and in all honesty developmental pediatricians are not in abundance. You'll need to plan ahead accordingly and be sure to make your next yearâ??s appointment before leaving the office so that you have it lined up. He has always been compassionate, takes the time to listen to my concerns and seems genuinely concerned about my son and daughterâ??s development. He provides me with information regarding the latest research in autism, including directing me to services in the local community and helping me to sort through all the quackery that seems to exist in autism treatments. I highly recommend him and feel blessed that he is the doctor for my son and daughter.

The waiting list was 6 months, so even after a 1st visit, we would have had to wait 6 months for a followup visit. We left his office with a book recommendation and a 6 month followup. Who has time to wait 6 months to see a doctor again? And I'd have liked more help than just a book recommendation. Need to find a new developmental pediatrician.
