Dr. James Seth Weintraub, MD

It was a pleasure meeting and being treated by Dr. Weintraub. His staff was friendly and helpful, and he was honest and quick to the point when answering all my questions. He was very knowledgeable and experienced at what he does. In my case, I was treated for skin tags on my arm. After informing me of my options, I opted for the liquid nitrogen treatment. The procedure was quick and I had all my questions answered before I was out the door so that I was confident with the instructions I had afterwards. Thanks again to Dr. Weintraub and his staff for a great visit.

I went to Dr Weintraub and thought he was very straightforward. He looked at all of my little skin issues and eased my mind. He didn’t needlessly remove anything which I greatly appreciated. On my boyfriend however, he removed anything that looked suspicious which was great because my bf has a history of skin cancer. This doctor knows what he’s doing. I would definitely see him again.

My son went to see Dr. Weintraub and was so very happy when he got done with his appointment. He was the most patient man and he knew exactly what was wrong with him and now he feels so much better. Thank you Doctor.

Dr. Weintraub was so rude and did not give me the time of day. I had a cancerous freckle on my ear that I came to see him about, he disregarded it and didn’t even look at my ear. He told me “its just a cut,” in a very rude tone. So when I saw another doctor about it, it turns out that I did in fact have signs of cancer and had to have a procedure done. Wow, so glad I didn’t listen to this rude man! Do not trust this man!

Several months ago... I am a kasier patient and decided it would be easier to cash pay for some treatment than go through the Kaiser hoops and still pay up to my deductible. Anyways, I went to Dr. Weintraub who was able to schedule me within a couple day notice and take care of the procedure right after. I was treated by Dr. Weintraub before I even got a dermatology referral at Kaiser, which was 8 days later... The whole thing cost me less than I ever expected, especially considering that I was in and out and waisted no time in lines or begging a GP for a referral. He did exactly what he said he would, exactly when he said he would, charged less than I was expecting and took care of me in a very clean and professional setting... I couldn't be happier... Or more relieved... Today, I found another spot that I needed the good doctor to check out. Low and behold, he squeezed me in between patients and took care of me right away!

James Weintraub led me to believe I had a cancerous growth on my face that he could biopsy it on the spot, but it would, "...require costly plastic surgery to correct the look of your face". His suggestion I had cancer and that a large chunk of my nose needed to be removed and nonchalant attitude about it all caused a great deal of undue stress and worry. Sensing something was off, I utilized Kaiser's second opinion service was was told it was a common facial wart and had it frozen off on the spot by a friendly, professional dermatologist. Because it is difficult to get a dermatology appointment, I was forced to see him again for a follow-up (my other option was to wait another month for the other derm). This time around, he entered the exam room with his mouth full of food, got up close to my face, and continued to chew in a disgusting fashion just mere inches from my face. He then use cryo on an area where there was no growth, and I had to stop him and tell him where to actually… treat me. He used the cryo for far longer than his colleague did, which caused massive blisters on my face that did not disappear for over a month. He was also curt and dismissive and acted like I was somehow an inconvenience. Get another job if you feel that way about your patients. James Weintraub is a rude, unprofessional, and inept dermatologist with formal complaints against him easily available online. I suggest you Google his name and see for yourself. Stay very, very far away from this man. I will not give him the dignity of calling him a doctor. He's a piece of garbage.

Dr Weintraub said he would follow up on the service he performed to make sure he didn't miss anything. When I went to make an appointment it would have been another charge to check his work. I had already paid him $600.00 for 9 minutes work. I do not recommend Dr Weintraub. The office staff is friendly and professional.

I'm writing this review because I don't want to see other people hurt. Dr. Weintraub is a terrible doctor. He misdiagnosed my condition, prescribed the wrong medicine, and gave me the wrong instructions for application. His negligence and inability to be a doctor has left me permanently scarred. He is a despicable human being and a liar when confronted. He should not be practicing medicine of any kind. He need s to be doing something where he won't be a danger to people.

Dr Weintraub was incredibly condescending and rudely abrupt with me as a first time patient. He wasn't interested in helping my issue, nor did seem to think I'd be able to understand. He skirted around all of my questions. I most definitely will not return to his office, as I received no help or treatment on my first visit. But more importantly, I am urging you to avoid his practice, you would waste your time and money...especially if you're a female.
