Dr. James Robert Weir, MD

Dr Weir performed surgery on my left hip in 2009 and 2011 for right knee. I am unable to walk without a cane and it is getting worse. I can not walk on my own to pick up my mail by the curb. I am very sorry I choose Dr. Weir for my surgon... every year my walking gets worse. I wish I had made a comment on the treatment years ago. When I complained of having to use a cane I was given a scrip and told to have more PT. Now I need the other knee replaced and possibably the right hip in the near future. I am pretty much crippled now and wish I could walk my 2 miles again like the old days.

My father is haveing an EXTREMELY serious allergic reaction to an old knee replacement and needs to have it replaced. Unfortunately Dr. Weir is the only dr who can put in the kind of knee my dad needs and is refusing to do the surgury despite the mountain of evidence that this needs to be done. Do not use this dr. he will refuse to help you.

Quick thorough examination revealed a necessary revision of a TKR on my right knee. Dr. Weir performed the operation and so far it's fantastic. One month in and almost to a cane now from the walker.

Larger older woman at front desk speaks to you like you are stupid. Rude rude woman. Needs to retire and go put her angry feet up. Dr. Is cool as heck though. If his window woman was someone that smiles and speaks to people with respect, i would give 5 stars.

Staff is horrible. They are to make your appointments but anytime you call there they tell you that they are too busy with other patients and that you are not a priority. Waiting for an appointment for an MRI for possible torn ACL and MCL. Each time I've called Mary would say that she would get to me tomorrow. How rude and unprofessional. Will not recommend him based on his staff you have to deal with

He is the most arrogant surgeon I have ever dealt with, I had a massive infection in the groin from the effects of a recalled Stryker hip which he lied about having given me. I had terrible pain for 5 months which took 2 surgeries and 84 bags of antibiotics , plus a pulmonary embolism, and going out of town to find medical help. He had the nerve to tell me it was my back - even his peers laughed at that. Find another surgeon - no one needs this.

His staff treats you like garbage, will make you wait for months in terrible need of surgery to just see you. Then they schedule surgery a couple months after that.

he is a sports doctor, not a trauma doctor thinks he knows everything, find someone else.

doc has done my knee and also a hip replacement. Great job, no problems
