Scheduled for radio frequency ablation never once saw the physician until in the pre op room when he marked my back. He gave me very little education. after being promised full sedation he changed his mind and gave me no choice in the matter. At no time did anyone else in the place explain the details of the procedure or any medication that I was to receive. My wife was very concerned and asked a nurse what was being hidden that she was not allowed in the room.. she ended up talking to the doctorwhere he accused he of being nasty twice and refused to answer her very specific questions. He cancelled the procedure after she asked the specific questions. Again calling names. This behavior is should never occur with a physician and is unprofessional to say the least. It is being reported to the state Board of medice.

Dr Weiss listens & actually treats you as a person & not just a paycheck. He is NOT pretentious, cynical,& does not act as if every patient just wants pills, as so many pain specialists DO. He actually listens to your concerns & takes time to explain things to you. I cannot, however say that about one of the nurses. By the way, he also has an office in Oregon, Oh., which makes it easier for people who live between Cleveland & Toledo. I would, & have, recommended him to anyone who has had a hard time with getting a Dr. to truly understand their pain & how it affects every aspect of their life. He takes all of your circumstances into account before he prescribes anything & does his best not to over or under prescribe meds.
