Dr. James Woodrow Weiss, MD

DR James Woodrow Weis may be the worst Doctor I ever seen in my life. He asked my family to leave the room when my father was on Oxygen at 2 Liters and when we walked back into the room the Oxygen was shut off, my father had no blanket on him and he was placed on his side with his legs crossed. Dr Woodrow Weis hastened my father’s death. We went in front of the hospital board and we disputed it and they agreed that Doctor Woodrow Weis hastened my father’s death. DR Weis let our father pass while we were out of the room. As we were upset in the room seeing my father on his side with legs crossed we asked why is he lying like that? Dr Weis said”because he’s dead”as he swiped his hand across my fathers leg. . Dr Weis is a horrible Doctor that hastened my father’s death.

Dr James Woodrow Weiss shut the Oxygen off on my father at Beth Isreal hospital. His nurse told my family to leave the room and when we returned a few minutes later I noticed my Dads oxygen machine was turned off. His body was twisted and bed sheets completely off his body. He was breathing peacefully when we left the room minutes before seeing this. Dr Weiss hastened my father’s death. He had no remorse or care or empathy as my family was distraught over his death. Dr J Woodrow Weiss entered the room and swiped my father’s lifeless legs and said “he’s dead”. Dr Weiss is a terrible person and should not practice medicine at all. The Beth Isreal took no responsibility as we spoke to the board years ago. Patients of Doctor Weiss please look at another doctor he is a very bad person and Doctor.

Very unethical. Can’t not believe he is still practicing. Funny how he changes his name. Here you see Dr. James w Weiss . On the Beth Israel website you see J. Woodrow Weiss. How fake is he. Anyway be aware of this awful Human being who has no business being a doctor. So uncaring and never tries to look for a cure just wants to get rid of his patients quick. Imagine shutting oxygen off while your patient is still alive just so you can rush a persons death. Why is he still practicing?? Board of Medicine needs to take note especially after reading all these awful reviews. Please heed my advice and take your loved one to another doctor. He’s just not a nice human being.

My family member recently passed and had the Dr. Weiss has her doctor. How unlucky we were. He was so pompous and arrogant that I felt such a sick pit in my stomach that this was the doctor caring for her. Please go seek another doctor after reading the reviews this doctor is heartless and should have his license taken away. I wonder how many of his patients died because he didn't try to help them live.

From the moment we met this doctor we knew he wasn't a good fit for our mom. He lacked the care and concern and looked annoyed when we asked questions. After reading his reviews why is he still practicing. Someone need to make patients aware of him. Not a nice man. No bedside manner..

i would never recommend this doctor to anyone!!!! He and his staff are horrible. All the residents that follow this arrogant self righteous human being around need a better role model then someone who thinks he is God. Please get a second opinion if this is your doctor and just wants to fill up his patients with morphine and have them die... So cold and heartless. I've never had this experience with any other doctor in my life. After reading previous reviews I can see that others feel the same. Seek another doctor one with better credentials.

I would like people to know that this doctor is so unprofessional and arrogant. He has no compassion at all!!!!

After my experience with this doctor, I would like others to know that he does not care about the well being of his patients. He never explains anything to his patients or their families. He just and very arrogant and thinks he is God. Who gives him the right to decide when a patient should live or die. He should want the best for his patients and give them any chance for life, not just trying to give them drugs to make them go quicker. Why is he still practicing medicine? patients need to know to go to someone else, he's not a good doctor or human being.

This doctor showed a complete lack of empathy for both our sick family member and those caring for him. He insisted that our family member wanted pain killers so he could force morphine on him which he himself said would likely worsen his condition. He basically decided it was time for our loved one to die without consulting anyone else on what measures he wanted taken. The reality was that our family member said he did not want pain medicine b/c imagine this...he wasn't in pain. After a very confrontational conversation we felt very concerned about the care our loved one was receiving. Amazing thing happened the next morning and a doctor who actually wanted to help our family member was able to remove several liters of fluid from his chest which greatly improved his breathing and overall well being as a well as made him more comfortable. The only thing Dr. Death wanted to do was morphine him up and cause him to pass without any chance to see if he could improve...which he did.

He was completely unprofessional from start to finish and showed no care to a dying man.go to another doctor he is awful!
