Service was in and out and Dr Wharton spent 3 minutes with me with little to no regard to address my concerns and a FaceTime video feed is not an acceptable way to diagnose and treat dermatological conditions- worst service I’ve ever received!!

Waiting almost an hour for an appointment. Doctors have no regard for their patients time.

I was there to have my acne looked at when he asked about a spot on my arm that I thought was a scar, I had had it awhile and it didn't look like a mole. He didn't like the look of it and wanted to biopsy it. He didn't charge me because I wasn't there for that, didn't ask him to look at it and thought it was a scar. Turns out it was melanoma. Thank you Dr.Wharton for saving my life!!

I had visited my primary care physician on my skin tags and had one large one on the inside of my thigh (yes, I know- gross). She recommended I go to a dermatologist because she thought it would bleed a lot. Previously I had skin tags removed by my primary doctor in Columbus, OH so had no problem with her doing that but she had said it was a delicate area. I went to Dr James Wharton's office in which I had an appt with Jennifer(?) the physician's assistant. I told her I wanted the skin tags removed and that I would like for them to be cut off (I specifically said this as this was the only treatment I knew). She told me that what she would do would be to freeze them off but if insurance did not pay for it, I would have to pay. I agreed and signed a paper. As she was removing them (I had 14 that she removed), she made the comment that some of them were so large that it might not work and I might have to come back for another visit. I was already in the middle of treatment and had not… been told this. I specifically wanted a couple of them taken off because they were so large. I did not want to have to come back for a second treatment. I think she was just too lazy to deal with cutting them off and wanted to take the easier way for her. It costs me $91.80 that my primary care physician could have done and I still have the 2 big skin tags- didn't affect them at all. Now I have a bill for $61.00 and called about that today. Office answered the phone with the doctor's name and said "how can I help you?" I replied "Billing" and she said again "How can I help you?" I replied "are you billing?" Again she said "How can I help you?" Then I explained what I was calling about. No name of whom I was talking to or anything. I've never called the office before other then setting up an appt and they did not know who I was so I was really surprised about how cold the office staff answered the phone. She gave me info and I told her I would have to look it up because I knew I had paid and would call her back. I called back 10 minutes later and got a nicer person who said the person in billing was out sick for the day. I told her someone had just helped me but never got her name. She said that she could try to help me as best she could. She did attempt to but wasn't able to but I liked talking to her better then the first person. To break it all done- the Physician's assistant seemed like she wanted to take the easier way out and wasn't worried about solving my issue of the two big skin tags I had and didn't give me all the information before the procedure started and then some of the office staff really need to work on their mannerism. If I can help it, I will not go back to this doctor's office again!

No follow up, but left surgery with full instructions on what to expect and contact info .

Failed to see the dermatitis all over my face and hairline...Completely missed it. Had a massive whitehead on my nose that just would not heal. He advised Vaseline. Said he did not know what was causing it. Aloe Vera lotion took care of it.
