Absolutely the best pediatrician! Takes his time to explain and open to any questions. Glad he is both my daughters' doctor.

Dr. Wheeler has been our pediatrician for nearly a decade. Our boys absolutely love him, the staff at Cook's is absolutely amazing. We also love Mrs. Allison (nurse practitioner) she is so great! Thank you for all you do and for taking such wonderful care of our littles ones. We have recommended you all to every one of our friends that are expecting and/or already have kiddos!

Dr did not even come into the room. He stood at the door and told me to come back in a few days. Said the weight was fine. He was filling in for our regular Dr. Two weeks later I was charged for a newborn assessment. My insurance was charged, and myself. A total of $180. He never touched my child. This is unacceptable, spoke with the office staff, and they do not believe me. Reporting him to my insurance company, and changing Drs. I hate leaving her, because she is great. I do not feel comfortable anymore with the office.

We have been parents for 21years and were with Wheeler for 10 years, but his parent communication deteriorated as well as his exceptance of other facilitys' DX. He had to run his own duplicate tests before he would agree to diagnosis. He treated us fine but through the years he began acting as if we were new parents and eventually forgot to listen. Ego's can really get in the way. Parents have rights and should be respected.

I have been taking my children to Dr. Wheeler for 6 years now (since they were born) and I couldn't be happier. I live 40 miles away and the drive is absolutely worth it. His staff is amazing, if for some reason I can't see Dr. Wheeler his my children are happy to see one of the other Drs. My calls are always returned quickly when I have a question for the nurses and always get not only an informative answer as a professional but as a mother as well. I cannot say enough about this office, I owe them many thanks.
