James H Whitmyer, MD

I've been going to Dr. Whitmyer for over a year now. He is by far the most genuine, down to earth and easy to speak with physician that I have ever had. He actually listens to his patients and tries to help you. He has the best bedside manner and makes you feel better when you speak with him. I feel like he genuinely cares about his patients and I find comfort in that. If you are looking for a new physician, I highly recommend him.

Been going to Dr Whitmyer for years now. It's nice to have a Dr who cares about your health and his community.

Dr Whitmyer is very “reachable” when you have a concern. He responds quickly to messages on the patient portal, is available for drop in sick hours, is a good listener when you have concerns, explains his thought process when answering your questions, and seems very knowledgeable. I switched to him almost a year ago and now my family is following suit.

Dr. Whitmyer is always precise and right to the point. He continues to amaze myself and my family on how we are taken care of just like family. We have been patients of his for over 10 years now and we appreciate him and his staff at St. John's.

Don't expect to be seen if you walk-in . You have to be an established patient . This site says " Walk-ins welcome" and that is misleading . Three weeks wait to see a doctor . Staff was cold and uncaring .

Dr. Whitmyer is very patient with me and good with my little children. He is very observant and helpful. I believe he is genuinely caring and I have seen him go over and beyond what is expected. I highly recommend him.
