As a parent of a child who had surgery by this doctor. There was not additional follow up provided after 3 weeks from surgery. My child experienced additional symptoms and the doctor refused to see my child for a follow up and recommended a neurologist. It is profound to me to have a doctor state this, especially having to recommend a surgery when my child never saw a neurologist to begin with. I think that is poor practice for a doctor and I would recommend any other parents to check all options for providers and ask what their protocol is for follow up.

Dr. Wilson is an outstanding surgeon and doctor. He is kind, compassionate, and an expert surgeon. My vertebra were worn down to triangles and my tailbone was twisted and he was able to fuse my spine. I can walk, bend, and run with no pain, numbness, or discomfort of any kind. He is a MIRACLE worker.

Dr. Wilson maybe an outstanding surgeon, but his bedside manner, empathy, and compassion leave a lot to be desired. I can not recommend him....

Dr. Wilson is AWESOME!!! I could barely walk with crutches when I went to see him and after surgery I am walking just fine!

I was a terrified teen with nearly debilitating hydrocephalus. Dr Wilson saw me, listened to my story and symptoms with compassion and a kind ear. When he knew everything he needed to know he planned and carried out a third ventricularostomy on me. I woke up to a new body. I could walk without any fear of tripping or losing my balance or ability to control my speed, and I never had another headache. This was 10 years ago in June. I have not once felt any negative side effects and am so thankful to him!

When I First Met Dr.Wilson,He Was Smiling A Lot.Telling Me Everything Is Going To Be Fine. Reassuring Me,As This Was The First Surgery In My Life! He Took My Hand,Held It For A Few Minutes,Reassuring Me Again That This Surgery Would Help Me To Regain Feeling In My Left Arm And The Pain In My Left Shoulder And Neck Would Disappear Over Time! He Kept Steady Eye Contact With Me,Always Smiling,Always Cheerful! Gave Me A Hug. During The Procedure In The Hospital, He Came To Talk With Me Before The Procedure While I Was Being Prepped For Surgery. Again Holding My Hand,Giving Me A Hug,Very Cheerful And Outgoing. Very Reassuring And Accomodating. After The Surgery,I Was Visited Again. I Spent Eight Weeks In Bed Recovering And His Office Called To Check On Me More Than Once. I Went Into The Office For A Post Op And My Scar Had Healed Perfectly! He Is An Outstanding Surgeon,An Accomplished Writer Of Multiple Books And Journals! A Five Star Surgeon,Whom Cares About His Patients! Highly… Recommended!!!
