Dr. James David Wolosin, MD

Dr. Wolosin performed an Endoscopy on me in April of 2023, and insisted that I have gall stones, and needed emergency surgery on my gall bladder. I was at Sharp Grossmont hospital ER, where the ER doctor also said I had gall stones and needed emergency gall bladder surgery. This was all blatant lies! Dr. Wolosin also insisted that he did not see, in the scope, the 2 medical conditions that I actually have had for years, an ulcer and a Hiatal Hernia (2 conditions that were verified by numerous tests, and Doctors at 3 other hospitals (not Sharps). Please be your own best advocate when dealing with medical professionals that try to tell you something you know isn't true! Always get a second opinion and trust your own instincts! FYI, I never had to get emergency gall bladder surgery because I didn't have gall stones! I have been a medical professional for over 20 years and don't always trust what I'm told from Doctors. Remember that are your best advocate!

Saw Dr. Wolosin for a routine screening. He and his staff turned a procedure I'd been DREADING into an experience worthy of a 5-star review and then some. Each member of the team, from the receptionist(s) to the nurses to Dr. Wolosin himself treated us (i.e., my required companion and me) with the utmost care -- taking time to smile, introduce themselves, invite questions and listen, explain things thoroughly, and otherwise put us at ease. Follow-up immediately afterward and the next morning was equally thorough and compassionate. YAY. Incidentally, recovery was smooth, painless, and free of embarrassment. ;-) I attribute that to expert care and their conscious decision to use the best tools and technology out there. Lord willing, I will not see them again for another 10 years. If for some reason I do, I would not hesitate to return to their practice. My highest recommendation. P.S. If it's time for you to get screened, do it. I can all but guarantee you'll be glad you did. :-)

Simply the best. He saved my wife's life. He always has time to listen and to explain what is happening. He diagnosed my wife's condition when others had failed. He's a caring individual who always has time for you whether during or after duty hours. He listens to patients. When you have a physician of his caliber it is no wonder why it is hard to get an appt w/ him, every one wants to see him.
