Dr. Woods performed a cervical fusion back in 2005. I had chronic neck and back pain which took over my life. I was scared out of my mind but Dr. Wood was very thorough and gave me the reassurance I needed to get through the surgery. He's the best Dr in the world!!

I've never met a more thorough doctor. You may have to wait a long time to see him but when you do, he doesn't rush and he goes into great detail explaining everything. He is extremely conservative in his treatment. His expectations for your full recovery depend on you following his advice.

I came away from my first appointment with the feeling that Dr. Wood listened, asked pertinent questions for clarification, and performed a complete series of testing to nail down an accurate diagnosis. Subsequent appointments led me to believe that Dr. Wood wanted to give me the most effective treatment available in his field of medicine including additional testing outside of his office to determine my level of abilities and inabilities long after an accident and genetic spinal disease had taken their course in my life. I highly recommend Dr. James H. Wood as your first sought-after physician and permanent source of medical treatment for serious spine diseases and injuries. He will get to the bottom of your case and you'll know all about it when he finishes all his testing. Just ask him on a scale of 1 to 10 where you are with your injury or disease and he'll tell you without flinching because he knows how much you need to know what you're dealing with.
