Dr. James Ferris Mose Yanney, MD

Dr. Yanney did an experimental surgery on me 14 hrs long. Had to be put into intensive care after surgery. After he did 5 more surgeries I was still not able to keep away from losing implants along with constant sinus infection to which I had to have 3 sinus surgeries to repair the damage he did to my sinus area. I finally went to the University of Washington and had 2 more surgeries to repair the damage the best they could. This has been over ten years since my last surgery and I still have numbness in my lips and noise. I am living with the results of this Dr. doing experimental surgery to make him famous.

He is empathetic , Highly knowlegible, a good listener, I would refer him to anyone. He is awesome!

Did a terrible experimental job on me

I can not say enough about the care I was given by Dr. Yanney. I loved the man, very personable, caring, and excellent results for me. I have always heard to not get TMJ surgery. I was at the point that I needed something and trusted him enough to have him do it. I understand that mine was a relatively easy surgery, but enough to require and overnight stay, and 6 months in a complicated bracing system. I almost immediately was out of the severe pain that plagued me. I am out of state now, but if anything went wrong I would travel to Oregon just to see him!

I met Dr Yanney 6yrs ago, he diagnosed my bilateral TMJ and did the surgery. I have had absolutely no problems since. He told me what to expect during the first year, the restrictions, therapy etc. If you do exactly what he tells you, the surg is worth it. He is a Godsend. Very professional, great bedside manner, compassionate and a very intelligent and skilled surgeon.

I had surgery by Dr. Yanney almost 20 years ago. The result was wonderful but I never saw him again. I was told that he left the area and sent me to other doctors for subsequent follow-up. If you are happy with the results that is what you will get.

Dr. Yanney is a caring person who is patient, kind, understanding, takes the time to make sure you fully understand what your situation & options are. I would highly recommend him to anyone. In my book you get what you pay for. This dr has been a true blessing for me & has taken over a huge mess from a previous dr that didn't do my total tmj surgeries correctly. Now I'm in great hands & finally getting relief.

His staff is awesome and very caring. Dr Yanney listens well and explains his findings, diagnosis, and treatment options with no pressure and full support of your decision. He really educates you well on all aspects of your diagnosis and rec'd treatment.
