Dr. James Joseph Young, MD

Dr. James Young is a family medicine physician with nearly five decades of experience serving patients and families. He earned his medical degree from the University of Minnesota Medical School and completed his residency at R L Thompson Strategic Hospital. With 48 years in practice, Dr. Young brings extensive knowledge to comprehensive primary care. He is fluent in Chinese, Spanish, and English.

Dr. Young practices at multiple locations throughout central Wisconsin, including Mosinee, Wausau, and Minocqua, and maintains his hospital affiliation with Marshfield Medical Center Weston. His clinical expertise includes specialized imaging procedures such as breast ultrasound and chest ultrasound. He also performs scintimammography, an advanced breast imaging technique that helps detect abnormalities.
