Dr. James Joseph Young, MD

Dr. James Young specializes in family medicine, providing comprehensive care for patients of all ages. He earned his medical degree from the University of Minnesota Medical School and completed his residency at R L Thompson Strategic Hospital. With nearly five decades of medical practice, Dr. Young brings extensive experience to his patient care. He is fluent in Chinese, Spanish, and English.

Dr. Young practices at multiple Marshfield Clinic locations throughout Wisconsin, including centers in Mosinee, Wausau, and Minocqua. His hospital affiliation is with Marshfield Medical Center Weston. He performs specialized imaging procedures including breast ultrasounds and chest ultrasounds to help diagnose various conditions. Dr. Young also provides scintimammography, an advanced breast imaging technique that can detect certain types of breast abnormalities.
