Not an honest surgeon cut my neck open for his research of Turner Syndrome LIED - withheld correct diagnosis just so he could experiment on me .. AVOID this MAN!!!!!!!

Read reviews because they are accurate . After a fall and back fracture, Dr’s response was that I have “old bones” and “old bones” take a long time to heal. Barely spent any time answering questions and made me feel like I was bothering him . Had one foot out the door during my appointment. My back fracture actually ended up getting worse and I was referred, not by this Dr., but to someone else who could help and would be compassionate . Very dismissive. I don’t like to write these reviews, but seeing this Dr set me back 6 mos.

Rarely do I take the time to leave negative comments on a fellow professional. I presented to Dr Yue with an MRI disc and report in hand. Two prior consults indicated I needed a spinal fusion . The MRI was two years old. I endured the back pain until I had issues walking. Likewise I had had two deaths in my family in the past year. I consulted Dr Yue the first time in the summer. The second time was in the fall after my beautiful 23 year old niece pssed away due to a brain tumor. I went back to explore his recommendations to my back issues. He indicated I needed a closed MRI. His assistant was extremely rude indicating I must have gotten a letter indicating insurance approval or denial. I then indicated I preferred an open MRI. She said let's resovle this right now. " Do you need medication due for a closed MRI. Candidly, I think she never forwarded the order from the first appointment. Having been a professional running my own firm I was quite shocked at her… unprofessional demeanor. Dr Yue seems to spend more time wandering the hall way than answering pateint's questions. Given two previous surgeons indicated I needed a fusion, I awaited his professional guidance. I am aware the MRI was old. Furthermore I understand the possible necessity of a new MRI prior to surgery. However, I could not get his analysis and recommendation without a closed MRI? One ponders who owns the MRI, perhaps Dr Yue? Certainly, the objective facts dictate the realistic possibility. In conclusion the lack of professional conduct causes me to pause using him in any capacity. The conflict and insistence of a closed MRI makes me desire to investigate further the connection with the State of Connecticut. People who seek professionals should be treated with respect and dignity. The one saving grace is the gal at the front desk , she is fantastic . The doctor and his assistant leave much to be desired. There are many qualified surgeons no need to be their door mat or blackmailed into a closed MRI . I

I 100% feel confident in the care Dr. Yue provides! He performed a disc replacement for me and it was very successful! He’s very knowledgeable and I’m glad I found him, although I hope not to have surgery again, if I did he would be my first choice!

Dr. Yue did a spinal fusion on me, it changed my life and made me worse. I can no longer engage in physical activities (running, dancing) that I loved and kept me healthy and happy. He has eliminated my entire physical life, and I am heartbroken. Please, please, think seriously before trusting him with ANY surgery.

I had a severe traumatic fall 6 years ago with a ton of surgeries to rebuild my leg. 2 permanent plates ..13 permanent bolts..cadaver ligaments and tendons..major surgery after major surgery. My lower back pain became unbearable from my spinal column injuries. I had traumatic scoliosis and 3 bulging discs and my spinal cord was very bruised and swollen. I began injections. The ketamine epidural gave me my period for 7 weeks straight. Ice Heat Tylenol pain meds topical analgesics...nothing worked. I was referred to a surgeon for my cervical spine and BOTH surgeons recommended Dr. Yue after a failed spinal cord stimulator implant with sepsis and subsequent acute renal failure. I have been mostly bedbound for two years. After my Aug 2018 surgery for my cervical spine surgery I finally scored an appointment with Dr Yue for another spinal cord stimulator paddle placement. I wanted to do this as it is excellent in removing pain from the waist down and come off meds. I was an RN… for over 25 yrs. I fought with surgeons once or twice. I honestly was blown away by Dr Yues kindness. He listened to me. My concerns as this surgery was going to not be easy. I honestly love Dr Yue. He gave me my life back. He is kind and brilliant. He actually cares about his patients and knows his stuff. He called me back with any questions or concerns. He also is highly recommended by his peers and has published many articles. The only issue may be getting into see him. However if you can wait...I would...or see him in a different location. I'd give him ten stars if I could.

Saw Dr. Yue several years ago after I was injured at work, which forced me to give up running. Dismissed my pain (even hip pain) because MRI of spine at the time showed no herniation; intimated that I was a malingerer and asked if I was married with children (as if that would cure my pain!). Fast forward a few years and have severe herniation and disc bulges with debilitating pain. Labral tear in hip found by another doctor at the time. Way to kick you when your down! Maybe he forgot 'Do no harm.'

Spends very little time with you, poor bedside manner, follow up from office staff and communication is terrible.

Rude. Told that multiple procedures would be required and pt would probably no survive them. Really blown off. pt 73 yr old in otherwise good health: no cardiovascular disease or medicated conditions
