I am 72 and Dr. Zavitsanos is the best physician that I have ever visited. Support staff Annette, Brenda and Shirley were also fantastic

Doctor Zavitsanos is unprofessional and thoroughly unhelpful. I was having heart problems for months and he did not help me. I had an appointment with another Cardiologist the same day I last saw him and the new Cardiologist diagnosed me right away with serious rhythm problems that could have been fatal if continued untreated. I was admitted from his office to the Hospital for a week. I required a heart procedure six months later to help correct the problems. Dr. Zavitsanos outright did not help me and did not believe me because obviously he could not diagnose and fix the problem. He also prescribed medication for me that reacted adversely and told me flat out he did not believe me that it did that. Many people with rhythm problems do not react normally to standard heart meds. Doctor Zavitsanos should lose his license and I would not recommend him!

Dr. Z is the most wonderful, thorough doctor I have ever been to. I have been to Mayo Clinic and find this doctor more willing to do what is needed to help his patient. He's the best in Melbourne!

Has been my Cardiologist from the time I started to experience PVC's, through my aortic valve replacement, and on a continuing basis post op. A very patient, caring cardiologist, thorough and a great advocate for other follow-up care. I am extremely happy with him.
