Great if you can get an appointment. Six month wait even for urgent conditions is not impressive.

This man is not a doctor. He has no empathy, no compassion, no kindness. All he cares about is his next paycheck. My sister had gotten surgery done by this man and has been suffering ever since. ENS was never talked about it during consultations. It very much should be talked about with how many people are suffering with it. My sister brought it up to him, but he completely dismissed her symptoms. She switched to a different doctor after months of no answers or any help from him. This man called my sister for no reason today. She told him why she was switching doctors because of his negligence and he just said “okay.” She told him how she felt, her symptoms, and everything. She has been on the verge of giving up. This man does not care about anyone whatsoever. Idk how he got his license, but it needs to be reevaluated. My sister just wanted answers. Very disappointed with the way he handled her as a patient. If you can’t trust a DOCTOR to help you, then who else? This man needs to find… another job if this one is just so miserable to him.

Even though it was many years ago when I went to see Dr Zirul for a deviated septum, I still have nightmares from my surgery. My profile has never looked the same and yes, I am vain about it..but having woken up during the procedure was the ultimate most pain I have ever endured. This, was NOT the surgeon's fault, I am aware. But having tolerated him grinding and chipping away on the bridge of my nose while awake and feeling it until I was able to blurt it out was excruciatingly painful. For over a week post op, I could not bend either of my arms from clenching so hard. After the bandages came off, it was obvious he had ground away the center of my nose, which still has wrinkles and a huge hump at the top giving it an ugly dip that my profile never had before. When I talked to him about what he had done_ he treated me with no remorse or apology and just said something to the effect that it just happens. I was NOT told any of this before my… septoplasty. I only had this surgery because I had been hit on the left side and could not breathe out of the nostril on that side. I was never expecting to end up in the severe pain of waking up during this and then having my profile changed forever. Yes, this happened to me many years ago but I am still very upset about it all these years later and if I could afford to have it fixed, I certainly still would. Sincerely, Nancy Kratz Homer, Alaska

One of the best doctors I have ever had treat me.

Waited for what seemed to be forever just to be taken back to the exam room...then waited again for Dr. to come in...when he did come in his personal cell rang and he left the room to take the call...as soon as he came back in...the nurse came in and needed him for something...this all happened before he had even really said hello to me.... Other than he is the only one on the Peninsula...I probably would drive to Anchorage next time. Doc visits cost so much that I really think the he needs to work on his "bedside" manner either that or give a discount for not giving me his undivided attention during my visit.

I had vertigo with no let up. Dr Zurill and his staff were nothing short of amazing. They took the time to figure out why and a treatment plan. They did not let me leave until they helped me. I
