Dr. James C Zozobrado, MD

Somehow he is billing me for attending my son's birth at Chandler Regional Hospital. I was there with my wife for every phase of labor, delivery, and recovery and I no point did I ever meet this Dr. He is listed on my billing along with Dr. Condon who was attending and did rounds the two days my son was in the NICU for breathing issues. The perfect example of surprise billing from both of them. Out-of-network Doctors working in our in-network hospital. No warning for us until we received a bill 6 months later.

Dr. Zozobrado billed for attendance at the birth of our son, despite our never having met him. His practice group, Obstetrix explained that he can bill even if he was waiting outside of the room on emergency standby. However, even when we had an emergency arise, he did not come. Now we are going through hours of agonizing calls trying to resolve. Obstetrix has very poor customer service at their billing call center.

Dr. Z took care of our little Isabella while in NICU @ chandler Regional Hospital. He took the time to explain what was going on medically and then break it down for us term by term. He never seemed rushed when explaining anything...

He is the reason my child had to go to the hospital. Horrible diagnostician!!!!

I will never forget Dr. Z's insistance the my baby girl was "perfectly fine" and told me I was imagining things when she was having seizures and had a grade III brain hemmorhage. She now has Cerebral Palsy, due to a stroke which could've been reversed and uncontrolled seizures which could've been stopped, thanks to the worst doctor I've ever met, Dr. Zozobrado. When I hear his name or think of his face, I get physically sick to my stomach. Beware.
