Nativity Filmy Birth Center & Women's Health Associates is a privately owned, nurse-midwifery practice. We provide an array of services from menarche to menopause. Our hope is that each and every client feels cared for from the moment they walk through our door.
Our story began with a mission: to create a welcoming space where families can embrace physiologic childbirth on their own terms, with access to compassionate care and the freedom to make informed choices about their health.
Nativiti was founded by Melanie Dossey in 1995. Our owner Jami Hain started at Nativiti in 2003 as a birth assistant and advanced from an RN to a Certified Nurse-Midwife (CNM) in 2012. In 2014, Jami took over the birth center, and has been running it ever since! Nativiti was born out …of a shared passion for holistic, family-centered care.
At Nativiti, your birth plan is uniquely yours. Whether you’re planning a water birth, looking for support with natural pain management techniques, or seeking midwifery care in a home-like setting, we are here to walk this journey with you. Our team is dedicated to empowering families through education, personalized evidence based care, and a deep respect for each individual’s birth choices. For women’s healthcare needs, we provide the same level of personalized attention, ensuring that each woman feels supported and heard.
