I come back on the reviews periodically, because I knew it was only a matter of time before license was suspended or taken away. I am not at all surprised. What a terrible thing for patients who trusted in her.

I had a bad experience. I would do research before considering this doctor.

Hoarder, filthy office, unethical and definitely is stealing money from patients by billing insurance for visits that didn’t happen. Stay far far far away! I hope she gets her license taken away for the sake of future patients she will only harm. I would put zero stars if it allowed.

When I struggled with drug addiction she would give me thousands of dollars at a time to buy her drugs that she “used to help clients detox”

I really enjoy meeting with Dr. Messina. Instantly felt a connection with her. Reminds me a lot of having a conversation with a friend who has known me my whole life. Calls me out when I need to be held in check. And offers me advice, reassurance, and comfort when I need it as well. Definitely different from the typical psychologist that you may imagine so if you're expecting the doctors that you've seen on television she is not that. But if you're looking for help she's a great doctor.

extremely unethical with a host of her own issues: doesn't care about her patients at all.

Unfortunately I didn't see these reviews until after my visits with Dr. Messina. Unethical is an understatement! Stay away!! How sad it is that a doctor you put your trust in to help you deal with issues in your life ends up being an unethical Doctor that obviously has bigger issues in her life.
