Dr. Jamie Lynn Hettick, MD

Rude and disrespectful towards patients. Has a mentality of, "Just shut up and do as you are told." Has no knowledge at all of the physiological processes of the human body. Her 'best guesses' are always wrong!

Jamie Hettick is a jaded, cynical, neglectful and mean person posing as a doctor. We had to argue every single thing with her to get anything done in terms of tests or medication. She ignored serious test results and can be verbally abusive if you challenger her authority. She's protected by the typical good old boys health network here so good luck getting anywhere with your complaints. Don't say you weren't warned.

I'm sorry to say, Dr. Hettick has the worst bedside manner EVER!! I felt worse after seeing her, I bawled all the way home! Absolutely NO compassion or empathy. Hard core. I did not feel like she validated any of my feelings w/issues I was having. Then ....after telling her everything about health (crying) She asked ME what I thought I should take care of first!! I felt like....uuh ........is this a trick question? She had me so belittled, I was afraid to answer, for fear it would be the wrong answer she was looking for! I'm thinking YOUR the DOCTOR!!! REALLY! Did she really ask me what I should do? I really thought She was clueless & that SHE needed the help. Her leg was bobbing up and down. Does she have tics, anxiety? What is she nervous about?? I had told her I wanted a thyroid specialist. (I had gained 60 lbs in less than a yr and the yr prior had lost about 26 lbs. I felt like my thyroid was all out of whack. Brain fog, memory bad, concentration real poor). She… said she would not write a referral for me for a specialist. The next time I saw her she was a little nicer, but still felt very intimidated. :( She also wouldn't give me a chest X-ray! I feel like there is a mass or ball or hernia IDK something .....under my ribs that gets kinda hung up or weird feeling. But nope! No X-ray! Everyone has that in that spot. (But I've never felt it before, until after I hurt my ribs??) This is my 1st review & it makes me feel so bad, but I needed others to know. (Is this considered gossip? Even if it's true?) I don't want to gossip. Forgive me if it is.

Dr.Hettick is a fantastic Doctor she tells you how it is does not beat around the bush. Very caring , friendly .
