Dr. Jamie Ann Mallah, MD

Dr. Mallah is a great doctor. She is very thorough and spends time investigating the problem and asking key questions.

Both my kids see Dr. Mallah & love her! She spends time with you & I trust she makes the best decisions in each visit. She addresses any concerns I have & gives me her honest opinion.

Dr mallah is great and her asst rebecca is wonderful. We never wait that long for our visit 5-10 minutes maybe, and the location is very convenient.

Dr. Mallah is amazing with my kids. She is old enough to have an immense amount of experience but young enough to have the latest-and-greatest in education... and to care about the newest therapies available. As a doctor myself (for animals though!) this is very important to me. We love her!

There are no words to describe how wonderful Dr Mallah is. We, unfortunately had a serious scare with our oldest. After a Hospital stay and second opinions, Dr Mallah was the only one who didn't give up on our baby and got her the treatment she needed in a timely manner. Because of her exceptional care, our little girl is completely healthy today and wants to grow up to be just like her favourite M.D. I would love to say negative things to keep this fabulous human being all to ourselves, but she really deserves the high praises and gratitude. We love you Dr Mallah!!!!!

My Husband and I recently moved to the Tampa bay area with our 4 kids an 11yr. old a 14yr old (with ADD, ADHD) and our two 2-month-old twins. As we began our journey to find a new pediatrician my husband knew my expectations were high we truly loved our old pediatrician in Sarasota and at one point after searching all over Tampa interviewing pediatrician after pediatrician had even considered just keeping him and making the drive when we had to. However my husband was adamant that we meet this one last pediatrician and give her a chance. I have worked as a nurse and as a section Supervisor at All Childrens Hospital in St.Pete for quite some time. I have seen the worst illnesses ever heard of and some that have not yet been heard of. I have had the opportunity to work very close with some of the top pediatric physicians in the country. So because of my exposure to the pediatric health field I knew what I was looking for in a pediatrician and I was not going to settle for anything less.… It is with great honor and pride that I can say that there is not a physician pediatric or geriatric that even comes close to Dr.Jamie Mallah. My first impression of Dr.Mallah was not like that of any others I liked her right away!!!!! She actually took the time to listen to my concerns, my complaints and even appreciated my suggestions she respects me as a mother and as a fellow professional. She caters to the needs of the children as well as the parents she does not hesitate to spend as much time with you as need be. She has always treated each one of my children as individuals as apposed too some pediatricians who figure that because they are twins they can be seen and treated together. Her bedside manner is that of an angel she makes you forget she is a doctor and leads you to believe she is merely some one who cares deeply about your family and wants to help. As frightened as the twins become when going in to her office she has a way of calming them down that includes long walks outside and incorporating her exam with play time at the fountain, she is truly amazing!!!! About a month ago my faith was truly tested when my 14 yr. old son was shot in the face by another boy, after an emergency surgery that lasted what seems like hours you will never understand the weight that was lifted off my chest as Dr.Mallah walked in the room and sat right down on my sons hospital bed. Even though my son was admitted under a different physicians service Dr.Mallah made a special trip to the Hospital to see us were she hung her stethoscope outside and entered his room as a concerned friend she spent nearly an hour and a half talking with us not only from a physicians stand point but from a caring and compassionate family friends stand point it was then that she told us that she had been following my sons case closely each day to make sure he was doing OK. She finished up her visit to us with a hug and these few kind words:"I am thinking about all of you and I am keeping you all in my prayers" Dr.Mallah you truly are an angel sent to our family from God thank you for everything you do with out you I dont know were we would be!!!!!!!!

Was referred by some moms at school. All was well with routine visits, until my child started complaining of chest pain and that it was after she ate. She was on some meds that could have affected her heart, however with the pain happening after she ate, it sounded to me like reflux. So, an EKG, Echocardiogram and 2 chest x-rays later - nothing. Switched pedicatricians, and the new Dr. realized she was constipated upon an exam (he actually touched her abdomen and felt it), and then suggested some Mirilax and Prilosec OTC, which cleared everything up. Wished we could have saved the $$, and tried the OTC reflux meds first....oh well, we've moved on.
