Dr Jamie S. Sherman, MD

Worst doctor ever! His knowledge is very inadequate! When doesn't know something, easily lable your child with mental illness! Unwilling to write prescription for your child's comfort!

Dr. Sherman takes the time to play with my son and make him feel comfortable while simultaneously examining him so there is no wasted time to our appointment. He is willing to answer all my questions professionally but in a personable manner; regardless of their quality. His staff are very cordial and also take the time to acknowledge my son and attempt to make him feel comfortable. My son enjoys seeing Dr. Sherman and has never had a negative experience that would make going to the "Doctor" unpleasant. His office is very clean and has never given my wife or I concern for it's cleanliness or professionalism. We have also seen other doctors in this office and the same can be said for all of them as well. We highly recommend this practice.

Excellent doctor, really knows his stuff, explains everything very well

Dr. Sherman has been my twins pediatrician since birth. They are now 4years old, and continue to still be in the 1 percentile. I'm writing a review because after reading the previous review, I wanted others to see my family's experience with him..... As much as I try my hardest to get my kids to gain weight, half & half, pediasure, additional butter to their meals, it just didn't do much. Dr. Sherman has always treated us with respect & dignity. He showed us that they were consistent in growth their own way. Never made me feel bad in anyway at all. He has the best bedside manners I've in countered in a doctor & very caring to his patients. We are expecting our third child and will definitely add Dr. Sherman as his or her pediatrician.

I saw dr Sherman for my first child. My son was in the 2% for growth meaning he was and still is long and skinny. My husband and myself are both naturally the same. Dr Sherman constantly made me feel bad about my sons size even though his weight gain was consistant and still on the chart. He was just small. I followed ALL of his feeding and health instructions including his suggestion to put butter on everything we fed him. The last straw with dr Sherman was when he told me 'you know, babies don't need to be on diets.' So insulting and infuriating. Look at us, none of us are on diets-don't make assumptions. It's been seven years and it still angers me.

Dr Sherman is great. The staff is friendly and there is never much of a wait. In the case of a emergency I always get in that day.

I am very scrutinizing about my doctors, and while I don't expect perfection, I do expect that even doctors should be willing to acknowledge that they too can be wrong. That said, Dr. Sherman is an excellent pediatrician who is very personable and understanding of the issues surrounding children and their stressed-out parents. He's not a magician, but he comes highly recommended with the best possible human skills.

We have seen Dr Sherman over the past 5 years and we really like him. He seems to care and takes time to listen to your concerns. We'd recommend him.
