Summary
Dr. Jamie Keele graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Middle Tennessee State University in 2012. Later, she attended the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis. In 2016, she received her Doctorate in Optometry. Dr. Keele was first introduced to Optometry when she was 12 when she discovered that she needed glasses because of nearsightedness. Growing up, she always had an interest in biology and medical sciences. However, it wasn’t until college when she shadowed her Optometrist that she realized she wanted to pursue a career in Optometry. She saw how rewarding it was and immediately fell in love with the profession. She enjoys helping people see better and preserve their vision. She especially enjoys working with kids to give them a chance to perform their best in school and life with improved vision.
