Dr. Jamie Lynn Thompson, MD

I made the mistake of staying with Dr. Thompson in spite of the completely impersonal experience I receved during the prenatal "care" during my entire pregnancy. During the pregnancy I found myself repeating the same things at every single appointment, some only days apart (baby name, gender, decision about epidural, birth plan, etc...). It made me feel like the person solely responsible for bringing my son safely in to the world didn't know or care about me at all. And, more recently, I've been diagnosed as having ovarian cysts. I've been in pain every single say for over six weeks. The only result of my appointment with Dr. Thompson was a bill for a diagnostic ultrasound. I was told they would not be treating me at all, but would follow up with another (costly) ultrasound in six weeks to check on the cyst. But, that news was delivered by the nurse, Nicole, who I had more contact with than the good doctor who couldn't be bothered to discuss my medical issues with me personally. I'm in… pain, I conveyed that and was told in so many words, "Oh well." I am appalled with the services received and will be looking for a new primary care doctor ASAP.

This doctor is the best and most caring doctor my mother ever had. She goes out of her way to make sure the patient understands and that they get the best care possible. Very knowledgeable.
